French Prime Minister Resigns in the midst of Speculation of Wider Government Reshuffle


PARIS,  (CNBC) - France's Prime Minister Edouard Philippe left government Friday, only days subsequent to being reappointed as chairman of the Northern city of La Havre. 

The abdication comes in the midst of gossipy tidbits that President Emmanuel Macron is setting up a bureau reshuffle to concentrate on the monetary recuperation post-coronavirus.
