China Strongly Condemns UK's Suspension of Extradition Treaty with HKSAR

LONDON, (Xinhua) - China voiced on Monday solid judgment and firm resistance after the United Kingdom (UK) chose to suspend the removal arrangement with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) quickly and inconclusively and stretch out the arms ban to the HKSAR.

A representative for the Chinese Embassy in London said that as of late the realm has more than once offered wrong comments on the national security law for the HKSAR to meddle in China's interior issues.

"The Chinese side has held up serious portrayals to the UK side on numerous events to communicate our grave concern and solid restriction," the representative said.

"Presently the UK side has gone significantly further down an inappropriate street in dismissal of China's grave position and rehashed portrayals. It by and by contradicted worldwide law and the fundamental standards overseeing universal relations and outrightly meddled in China's interior issues trying to disturb the execution of the National Security Law for the HKSAR and subvert the city's thriving and steadiness," the representative said.

As indicated by the representative, the Chinese government stays faithful in its purpose to execute the law to protect national sway, security and improvement interests, and to contradict outside obstruction.

"China will immovably retaliate at any move that meddles in its inward undertakings," the representative included.

The national security law is a grapple for the consistent and continued execution of "one nation, two frameworks" and for the drawn out security, flourishing and soundness in the HKSAR, the representative said.

"This Law will make Hong Kong a more secure, better and progressively prosperous spot," said the representative, including that "any endeavor to pressurize China and deter the usage of this Law will meet the solid restriction of 1.4 billion Chinese individuals, including Hong Kong comrades, and such endeavor is destined to disappointment."
