Trump Celebrates Border Wall Milestone during Arizona Visit

LOS ANGELES, June 23 (Xinhua) - U.S. President Donald Trump commended the culmination of 200 miles (around 320 km) of outskirt divider along the fringe with Mexico during his visit toward the southwestern territory of Arizona on Tuesday.

The president traveled to Yuma, a city in southwest Arizona, on Air Force One in the first part of the day and afterward inspected the tall metal fence in the midst of residue and singing warmth, calling it "truly idiot proof." He marked a dedicatory plaque perceiving the finishing of 200 miles, a neighborhood media source, AZcentral.com detailed.

"This is the most remarkable and far reaching fringe divider structure anyplace on the planet. It has innovation that no one would even accept, among sensors and cameras and everything else," said Trump, as indicated by a public statement from the White House.

"We're poised to finish 450 miles before the year's over, and 500 miles, very quickly from that point. We may even have the 500 miles before the year's over. We're making a genuine showing," he noted.

Arizona is one of the battleground states in Trump's re-appointment crusade.

In his 2016 crusade for president, Trump had promised to manufacture "an extraordinary divider" along the U.S.- Mexico fringe.

During his administration, Trump has kept up a hardline position on movement and outskirt security, and pushed for a progression of questionable measures, including raising a fringe divider along the country's southern outskirt with Mexico, in an offer to hinder illicit outsiders.
