BANGKOK, June 18 (Xinhua) - Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul has offered himself as Thailand's first individual to be infused an immunization against the coronavirus, said an elevated level government official on Thursday.
During an ongoing gathering of the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha requested a volunteer as the primary human in Thailand to take the counter coronavirus antibody. The general wellbeing pastor, who went to the CCSA meeting, promptly offered to give it a shot himself, said Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob.
The antibody, created by a Thai clinical group, was prior tried with macaques and results were accounted for as palatable.
Saksayam cited Anutin as saying he was exceptionally sure about the capacities of the clinical staff, who have endeavored to battle the pandemic.
