Ex-UN Chief Ban Ki-moon Says N Korea Acquired ‘De Facto Nuclear State Status’ From Trump Meetings


SEOUL, June 18 (Sputnik) - Former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said on Wednesday in a meeting with Time magazine that North Korea "appears to have prevailing with regards to securing accepted atomic state status" on account of gatherings between US President Donald Trump and North Korean pioneer Kim Jong-un. 

The previous UN head said that he is "exceptionally stressed" about North Korea's progressing rocket tests, adding that Washington appears to have changed its position on Pyongyang's conduct.
